Acupuncture is a valuable adjunct to improve quality of life while undergoing chemotherapy. Symptoms of nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dry mouth, thirst, constipation or diarrhea, feeling extremely hot or cold, headache, insomnia, stress and anxiety or depression can be reduced or relieved with acupuncture.
Once the course of chemotherapy is completed and the drugs have cleared the body systems, acupuncture can reduce or eliminate some of the drug-induced side effects such as neuropathy, as well as nudge back to balance some of the other system irregularities brought on by the experience.
If you have questions and concerns about acupuncture treatment, we offer a free 20-minute phone session: click here for contact information to call or e-mail us.
