The experts say that 40% – 80% of people around the globe will contract some form of the virus. If we average this to 60% and assume most of us have been exposed, that means some of us are asymptomatic carriers. When I look back at all our interactions in the course of normal activities before we stopped, there had to be so many cross contaminations. We’ll know a lot more when an antibody test becomes available, but until then staying on top of our health is something we DO have some control over.
An Ounce of Prevention
Predictably we’re all going to be hyper vigilant for the next few months. Prevention is key, not just for our bodies but also our psyches. Herbal formulas, like acupuncture, set things in motion inside the body.
The virus we are living with shows us we need to strengthen our immunity by any and all means at our disposal. There are many things we can do to keep our immunity intact. such as getting sufficient quality sleep (it’s a challenge right now for most), good nutrition including supplements, some form of meditation, exercise including yoga and qigong, or any grounding self-care practice you prefer. If you’re a stranger to herbs, here are a couple of key points to consider: herbs are essentially a food. As a food they get broken down and either go all the way through the GI tract or are taken up by the body to address the problem so you can continue into a healthier state
If you’re fine and have no symptoms and want to do something to stay that way, then you can do what we’ve been doing: add a preventive formula to your supplements, because these plant extractions add extra nutrition into your daily diet.
Shorten the Severity
Like most of my colleagues when I first grasped the nature of this beast, I chose a classic formula to start taking and to offer patients, Jade Windscreen.
